TIMELINE

Palma Pictures is one of the world’s leading production service companies. We operate from our studio complex on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca and also from our office in the heart of the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.

The company was founded in 1993 by Ola Holmgren and his wife Grete. Already a renowned Swedish commercials producer, Ola was one of the first industry professionals to recognise the filming potential Mallorca had to offer. When they moved down to the island they opened an office in the heart of Palma´s old town and their new venture was christened Palma Pictures.
